Speaking at the Canadian Hydrogen Convention Technical Conference was a rewarding experience where I had the opportunity to share my insights on the Canadian hydrogen market with a wide audience, engage with industry experts, and forge valuable connections, contributing to the ongoing discourse on the hydrogen sector and the future of it.

Decarbonization is a must in our world today as we face new challenges regarding climate change. It is everyone’s responsibility, therefore, to garner as much knowledge on the means to facilitate a better world for our youth. The Canadian Hydrogen convention easily facilitates this though engagement of key industrial, academic and governmental stakeholders, showcasing exceptional strategies, products and inventions along the way. With a truly Canadian flavour, it is a must for anyone working or being introduced in the field.

Certarus was very honored to be nominated for not one but three categories of CHC awards including Hydrogen Delivery, Hydrogen Safety, and Hydrogen Projects. We received the Hydrogen Delivery award for safely and efficiently delivering hydrogen for various projects and we could not be more proud! This was a special night receiving this award because so many Certarus team members work tirelessly to make this a reality. What a great feeling to announce this to our team and see the looks of pride on their faces. Special thanks to the Canadian Hydrogen Convention for bestowing this award on Certarus!

It was so wonderful to be in a room full of the hydrogen industry's influencers and decision-makers when we won the Hydrogen Mobility Award. That level of recognition from a panel of our peers has helped set a good tone with provincial and federal governments for a pre-revenue startup like Hydra. As a company just entering Alberta, the credibility we gained from the award enabled starting off connections with relevant stakeholders on a high-note.

I would encourage anyone involved with hydrogen to attend this event. You will be provided with an excellent opportunity to learn from others and network with those working in the hydrogen space. Each year the conference has more attendees and content and I am excited to see what the 2024 event brings!
