David is the Director of the Alberta Clean Hydrogen Centre of Excellence, hosted by Alberta Innovates.  He leads the development and implementation of the Centre’s strategy and operations, including funding innovative technology solutions, knowledge generation projects, funding competitions, public awareness program development and fostering connections and opportunities within the growing hydrogen network in Alberta and western Canada.  The Centre collaborates closely with the Government of Alberta, post-secondary institutes, industry and small to medium-sized enterprises to help advance hydrogen’s adoption into the Alberta energy system and for export.  David has Bachelor of Science, a Master of Environmental Design and a Master of Business Administration degrees, all from the University of Calgary.
