Jennifer is the Manager of Advanced Business Development for Toyota Canada Inc. which is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and is responsible for the Energy portfolio and has lead all aspects of Toyota’s hydrogen business since 2018.

Toyota first brought the Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) to Canada in 2018 and Jennifer coordinated the fleet sales of Mirai to various companies in Quebec in 2018 and 2019 working closely with key partners.  In the summer of 2019 Jennifer focused on introducing the Mirai to various clients in the BC market including HTEC and Ballard and in February 2021 launched a program for Lyft drivers in Vancouver where they were able to rent Mirai’s to drive as their car share vehicle.  Today this program is operating with Uber drivers and includes both the Mirai and Toyota’s bZ4X (battery electric vehicle) and goes by the name KINTO share.

As Toyota’s key liaison with hydrogen stakeholders in Canada, Jennifer implemented the Mirai rollout in Alberta in July 2023 and in Ontario in September 2025 when fuelling became available at the GTAA.

Jennifer also participates in several committees with the Canadian Hydrogen Association on behalf of Toyota Canada.
