Kyle Mulligan is the Assistant Vice President – Operations Technology at Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), where he is responsible for overseeing several of CPKC’s innovation and technology initiatives. 
As a leader at CPKC, Kyle strives to deliver results while also mentoring those around him. He is a qualified locomotive engineer and conductor and has used his first-hand experience to lead the implementation of targeted operations technologies in the field.

In addition to his current role at CPKC, Kyle also leads Hyion Technologies, a CPKC/CSX joint venture to build and sell zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell locomotives rated for Class I railway operations.
Kyle holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and has been the recipient awards most notably CPKC’s 2019 Railroader of the Year.
